Seat Asset Management
Back in November last year we first mentioned the work we are doing in developing a system for customers to understand the location of their seat assets, in addition to providing information about seat change outs and servicing.
This Seat Asset Management system will help customers get the most out of the products we supply by making the management process easier.
The first customers now have the “tracking beacons” installed in their seats, which then provides us with information which can be viewed in real time on a mobile phone app, or in the desktop environment.
Grant Van Elswyk of Modern Motor Trimmers says “so far the response we have had to this concept has been overwhelmingly positive. We have a couple of site trials planned for later this year. This means we will install beacons on every seat on a particular site and observe the improved efficiency for the operation”.
Grant goes on to say, ”We are continually looking to add functionality to this concept as well. If any customers are interested in having a look at what this can do for them, we’ll be happy to have those discussions.”
